I was fine with what they did in the House when McCarthy was being voted on - regular order, etc.
But, he is not going to accomplish anything here other than promote himself and get donations.
If he is/was serious, he would do it when there is a Republican President and the votes are there to get it done - 2017, 2018 for example.
I'm still open to somebody sending me a link that shows he did this in the first three years of the Trump administration.

Burying those definitive Jan. 6 videos alone is enough for McCarthy to be whacked. There is not one single honest reason in the world why we should not see the whole truth. Just the one that Tucker showed (before being taken down) changed the whole dynamic. Judges would play hell putting good people in jail if the truth were to be known. And the fact that people are going to jail, is on McCarthy. Wonder what he'd do if his Son was rotting in solitary confinement.

This is a three card Monte. Nothing is going to happen to any of them. I'm convinced none of our elected officials are any smarter any any of us. We'll ok. Some of you need a helmet. But over all it's not out best and brightest.

Why would Gaetz need to oppose Trump. Trump actually did what he said he was going to do.

I didn't say anything about him opposing Trump. If he really wanted to take on DC spending, why is he doing it now when he KNOWS the votes are not there. In 2017 and 2018 he had far better chance to win the spending cuts. He did not; he is a fake.

It's in great part about spending cuts and securing the border. Two things Trump clearly did not do.

It's likely to fail, but I'll be damned if I don't support him just the same. He seems to be one of the few actually fighting the uniparty.

Because in 2017 and 2018 the administration spending was no where near the out of control spending of this administration.

I agree, but they all are, hence the uniparty. No1 wants to truly serve the people.

Trump spent $6.6T and $7.2T in his last two years. Biden has spent 6.0T and 6.1T in his first two.
Trump spent more in his first two years than Obama ever did.

Not sure where you got your numbers bit Biden spent 9 trillion his first year by September and was asking for more. He has spent 8 trillion already this year. Trump increased the deficit 1 trillion a year and Biden has far exceeded that.

Please....in the end, the people have no idea what they want. Most are semi morons about things that truly effect them

LINK
This is the Biden spending. Notice the first three statements. Spending, taxes and deficit. Also notice "highest sustained level in American history" .
Also notice that this isn't bs propaganda from msnbc or cnn. It is the United States budget committee government site.

I had used a website called the presidents project, but to be more confident in the numbers I went to the St Louis Fed's website where they report data.
Trump's last two years he spent $6.6T and $6.8T
Biden's first year (the last year they report), he spent $6.3T.
And the point about Trump spending more in his first two years than Obama ever did is accurate.

Well those sites are obviously complete bs considering I just linked the actual United States budget committee site. Which would be the actual government website and not some spin site. You might notice the budget.house.gov proving its status as the actual government website.

That is a ridiculous argument. The national debt increase by over $3 trillion from 2016 to 2019 - prior to Covid. That is not acceptable. Several conservatives voted no, most joined the spending parade and there was no veto at the oval office.

Yeah, the St Louis Federal Reserve Bank would be a spin site

You're quoting a political piece. It's the budget committee, that today is run by Republicans. You can't believe that something that leads with "It’s safe to say the President’s budget will advance his radical agenda" is just the gov't reporting data.
