Fiscal conservatives and not conservative when it comes to military spending, they will spend every dime. It is a game, Conservatives spend their money on military and Dims spend money on social programs, they just want to keep on spending...

John Barron and STDTiger incoming to say those checks were great and we should do it annually

I supported him then, but he is supporting Democrats now. Sorry, we can’t squander this moment. If he continues to be a Democrat cog in the govt. machine, then I will support his disposal from elected office.

If the government was keeping people from working, how were they supposed to pay their bills? The government never should have put people in that position.

quote:He’s an ineffective loser because the didn’t cut spending all by himself. It’s all his fault. Not the other 534 members of Congress. And definately not the president that wanted to spend more. Nope. All Massie’s fault.
and many think he should be primaried.

I remember a single mother hair-dresser in our town having to covertly cut hair out of her house to make ends meet - all the while Wal Mart was open. Thank God Brian Kemp - despite all his misgivings - put an end to the nonsense sooner than most of his contemporaries.

He's opposing Democrats, and one of the few still doing so.

People forget that things like the CARES Act totaled trillions of dollars and yet all of the rounds of stimulus checks combined were only about $800B

I’m willing to bet not many people in here voted against their rep because they voted for the cares act.
Yeah if your rep was a democrat, maybe you voted for a republican. But not because the dem voted to pass the care act.
And some of you republicans voted for the republican that voted to pass the cares act and kept them in office.
So did any of y’all really care?
Be honest.

So, Massie plan then was the same as his plans now - Do Nothing.
“We want smaller more efficient government”
Ok, we should stop passing out stacks of cash.
“NO!! Not like that!”

I voted for Thomas Massie.
Next talking point.
Next talking point.

How many years do we need to accept losing for?

If you concede the most important plank of fiscal conservatism, are you really “winning?”

So the goal is just to keep losing cause conservatism?

Good for you.
You did something right for once.
I voted against scalise. Not because the cares act or that I dislike him. Just want to move people on and not end up with a Mitch of our own.
Oh, thanks for that one.

AOC without the tits.
Massie Bros are struggling so bad they gotta start threads about some shite that happened 5 years ago.
Don't you have some Joo bashing threads to start? You haven't hit your quota yet today.

bullshite. He is more anti-Trump than was anti-Biden. If he was as noisy and vocal back then as now, I’d semi give him a pass. If we squander this moment, I blame him and also the DC swamp creatures. Trump is the middle road here, leaning hard on the Massie side. He has to compromise his purity sometimes when it aides our enemies.
