Massie gets nothing done. He insures nothing passes his purity test. He only useful when he gets out of the way. Deny the good in order to lose the perfect. For an MIT grad that is pretty useless thinking.

This dipshit doesn't seem to realize that if he keeps giving the democrats victories, by weakening the party he is supposedly part of, there won't be a constitution to defend. If they all worked to defend the constitution, then his stance would be noble and likely effective. However, everytime he votes independently of the republican party, he weakens their power. Unfortunately, there are too many like him that are fine voting with democrats so we'll likely lose this country soon.

This is the correct answer.
And this is what so few can understand today. Two things can be true at once.
A guy can be politically grandstanding for his own purposes, AND he can be taking the correct position.
Back before Trump cultists being switched from complete isolationists to war hawk globalist imperialists overnight, I used to try to get them to understand that people could be opportunists and make money on military operations AND the military intervention could still be in the US's best interest.
Their brains melt trying to process the concept of two things being true at once, though.
