That’s all he can do. Massie didn’t accomplish anything. He is a grifter. And his fan boys fell for it. It’s not about Massie. It’s about Trump. TDS is a hell of a disease.

I mean I understand his point that out of the 500+ congressional representatives over the last 14 years, they haven’t done anything, but one accomplishment over zero isn’t much of a brag, is it?

Again, name the one with more accomplishments if it's not a big deal.

So he is going to have Congress pass another bill? feckless Massie is feckless.

What else is a Congressman supposed to do? They draft legislation that they hope to pass.

Epstein Transparency 1.0 wasn't sufficient to get the DOJ to release all the files. Massie thinks Epstein Transparency 2.0 will cure those defects.

Mike Johnson doesn't think Massie is feckless. He's now had to shut the House down twice out of fear of Massie.

Fear of Massie? You really think congress is going to impeach Hegseth?

Refreshing to see you acknowledge that Massie is powerful enough to shut down the House.

Johnson says the House has DONE ITS JOB, the main driver of his decision ??

This impeachment is going absolutely NOWHERE. The Senate has even voted around a dozen times on "war powers resolutions" RE: Iran and it's all resulted in nothing

Meanwhile, AG Todd Blanche confirmed Hegseth has not done anything illegal and that the impeachment is totally baseless

I SUPPORT SEC. HEGSETH 100%! ????

Pure gold: Massie's "privileged" resolution meant the House had 2 days to get to it, meaning the vote must come when the House reconvenes at a later date

You mean you can't.

Oh wow 1 accomplishment that he had to draft another bill for because his original law sucked. What a great legislature.

Question, who is more accomplished, Trump or Massie?

Not sure you know the difference, but Congress doesn't impeach. I don't think there is any chance that 2/3rds of the Senate votes to convict/remove Hegseth.

I think Johnson thinks that there must be a chance that Massie can get a simple majority in the House to impeach (charge) Hegseth. Why else is Johnson unexpectedly shutting down the House?

It also might have something to do with Massie’s discharge petition for Epstein Files Transparency Act 2.0. Ralph Norman (R-SC...butthurt by Trump supporting his senate opponent) signing it probably spooked Johnson also.

Can't risk votes in the people's house. Cowardly.

Are you trying to compare a president to a congressman? Wow, that is desperation.

The majority of Trumps accomplishments suck. He's been good on immigration, except he's going to grant amnesty to "workers" before leaving office.

I'm sure Massie would have accomplished way more than Trump could dream of if he was president.

Johnson unexpectedly put the House in recess to avoid a mandatory vote on Massie's motion to impeach Hegseth.

Massie had said the reason that he didn't tell Johnson beforehand was that he thought Johnson would do that very thing...like Johnson had done in an unsuccessful attempt to defeat Massie's Epstein Transparency Act.

Looks like Massie is right...unless you can think of a better reason the Republican House closed for business without passing all of Trump's agenda before the midterms.

And it still happened? my god. Massie never accomplishes anything with his fellow republicans. I guess that’s what you get when you’re actually a dem.

I'm completely down for a DeSantis/Massie type ticket. They are friends from when DeSantis was in congress. DeSantis might be a little neocon friendly for my tastes, but he's been a great governor and Massie would be a nice way to smooth it over.

Desantis is pro Israel.

God you people are dumb as rocks.

I'm aware. It's why I didn't support him last election. But he is my governor and he's been the best governor I've had. I think it's BS we have term limits that prevent him from the position longer.

I think overall he would be Great, nobody is perfect. And someone like Massie smooths it over.

If a better name comes up, I'm all for it. But all I ever heard are neocon names that I won't vote for at all.

You're just claiming he doesn't follow the status quo.

Which is exactly why people like him.

Yes. Failing to accomplish anything is certainly his status quo.
