I remain convinced that such lofty goals cannot be had under the current system. Albeit a System which is being challenged by the Left’s “fundamental change “, via a Democratic unverified vote. The corrupt Judiciary would have to be trashed for any of your reform points to be had.

Just like over in Iran, Trump knows what will be required in blood for real change, here or there, and I don’t think he wants that on his record. Or in his “Book of Life” judgment criteria when facing the Good Lord into the next life. Who amongst us would?

True on some of it particularly spending cuts and lasting trade deals. He needs Congress for those. But after the Supreme Court ruling on tariffs it’s like he gave up when he still has options to leverage trade.

However Congress gave him funding for ICE. No excuse for low volume deportations, he has the money and the authority. Courts have sided with him. He got weak knees after the bad press in Minnesota.

Iran is also fully on Trump.

Not addressing H1Bs and not reporting illegal ag workers is on Trump. His admin has the authority here.

His DOJ can make arrests of deep state criminals. They choose not to pursue most of it.

I just don’t think Trump has the fight in him that he had in 2016. Maybe it’s old age. But I think Vance or Desantis would fight harder and get things done. Say what you want about about RDS, but he does all of the things in Florida that I want on the national level
