Mass exodus, 90 Chinese nuclear scientists suddenly resign high paying jobs

Title shortened to fit. I almost added this to the Three Gorges Dam thread but didn't because I don't know for sure this is why these guys have quit. But it sure seems weird timing considering the nuclear plants below TGD that are in danger of being flooded out if the dam fails.
The article speculates that these scientists are trying to distance themselves from the CCP before it's "imminent demise."

We all see it coming. Something big.

That's not going to happen short of some country conquering China and forcing it to. They will not allow internal pressure to build to a level that could topple them peacefully.

I think the Chinese people themselves are gonna end up overthrowing the CCP.

You mean pressure building, like a dam break? I don’t think they planned or prevented, potentially, that one either.

This is the only way such drastic change can happen.

Unlikely they do it on their own.

I don't think it'll take much help. All's you gotta do is prove that the CCP created and intentionally spread the coronavirus. And that's not even accounting for what people are gonna do if that dam fails.

We can only hope the sweet taste of capitalism has freed their minds.....we need fresh patriots to flood into America to help us defeat the Socialist Marxists trying to destroy America.

If the dam fails all bets are off, but I think you’re underestimating the control the CCP has over its citizenry.

Hopefully, they know something we don't.

Katrina caused all kinds of US problems and a good chunk of that was a natural disaster with some bad US Army Corps Of Engineers design responsible for the rest.
If Three Gorges goes, that’s completely on the CCP and will likely kill tens of millions in addition to wrecking their economy. At that point, shite’s on.

I think Hong Kong may be a canary in the coal mine. All they need is a major distraction like the dam failing and it will be ripe for revolution. The question is...us or Russia?

The one child policy from their past is affecting their potential future. Most Chinese parents "chose" to have a male child, (boy). Then, it has been said, these boys were pampered by Mom and Dad which caused a shortage of "MEN", now.

How long until all of them are killed , or sent to slave camps to make Nike’s and apple products ?

Well, it's a bit strange that 90 of these nuclear safety guys just resigned. We have been talking for weeks now about how there is a danger in their nuclear plants being flooded out in the event that the dam fails.
Man, if it happens it's going to be catastrophic and their people are going to be pissed. They're already pissed off about that dam to begin with.

I'm surprised that that government allowedthem to resign.
I'd expect they have their own version of forced un-retirement.

That would be my ideal end. I just don't see that government allowing the people to get the momentum they would need to bring that about. CCP will crush that from the onset. They won't let it get to Tiennemin Square.
