Bread and Roses, Segal said, embraces free public college education, equal distribution of wealth and universal health care, for instance, but it differs from many socialists groups in that it doesn’t seek to push a certain policy or platform.

A core tenet of Segal’s socialist party is that the "American Dream" should move away from its emphasis on a job-centered life and toward one devoted to quality time spent on relationships and interests. It supports entrepreneurship and home ownership.

This is what happens to your brain on weed! And when you live in the California of the east coast.

So when we all decide hanging out and smoking hash is better than working, where will other people's money for hash and hanging come from?

They realize being an entrepreneur would mean having a job right?

Is there a logic switch they can turn on?

Everything they believe makes no sense and has no lengthy sustainability.

I fully support new political parties. The republican and democrats will remain the dominant parties in the Senate and WH, but I would love to see them fractured and they have to form coalition governments in the House.

“Reformulating the American dream, to have a moderate level of consumption but with the social and economic security that comes from meaningful work, and allows people to meet their needs, at least enough to have leisure, and do things that are important to them, like going to church, spending time with their kids … our roots and values are much broader,” he said.

Socialism and religion do not go together.

Let’s all do nothing constructive and see how long it takes for the collapse to happen...

I do not think that will turn out well for his party at the ballot box.

quote:

Of those surveyed, 24 percent of business owners were more likely to be Republican than Democrat. Republicans are way more likely to be presidents, vice-presidents and finance executives than Democrats and the hot industries for Republicans appear to be real estate, financial services and wholesale trade. The study also found that Republicans tend to have stronger financial indicators than Democrats, such as higher household income, home value, net worth and likelihood to invest. They are also much more likely than Democrats to have a home office, purchase small business insurance, fly more frequently and invest more often in real estate.
LINK

quote:

Renters are significantly more likely to lean left. Among homeowners, President Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election by a margin of 6 percentage points, but Clinton won the renter vote by a staggering 30 percentage points.
LINK

Both small business owners (aka entrepreneurs) and home owners are more likely to republican than democrat. This party's main goals are to promote ideas that make people less likely to support socialism. That is a bold strategy.
