Zelenskyy repeatedly tried to renegotiate the deal and alter it in front of the cameras. Zelenskyy was the antagonist, rolling his eyes, interrupting the President, and making more demands, not Trump and JD.

When he lost Lindsey Graham by his on-screen antics, he lost a lot.

Every single question was about defending Zelensky.

No strategy questions?

ETA- Apologies. I misread the post and interpreted incorrectly. You are right, if Z lost a Ukraine bro like Graham, he’s done

Are we sure Kaitlin Collins isn’t a man?

Looks like she took a good shot to the nose at some point, she has to turn her head 10 degrees for it to line up straight.

Why do things need to be done behind closed doors?
global diplomacy with each participant calling the other a cocksucker is probably best done behind closed doors until some sort of agreement is reached.

He clearly missed the part where Rubio said Ukraine has been undermining their efforts for 10 days and saying one thing in meetings and on the phone, then leaking something different to everyone else.

Trump put this on camera for the world to see that Ukraine has been lying to them about the negotiations, and it worked as most people saw what happened. Only idiots want to read into it more instead of seeing it for exactly what it is.

Trump even said he let it go on for longer so that the people could see. He didn't say "see" what exactly but its clear that he meant to see that Z has no intention of ending the war and has been lying the past few weeks.

The agreement was ready to sign, and for 10 days, Ukraine has said in private that they wanted it only to go to other leaders and the press to say otherwise. They have been playing a stupid game and Trump put him on camera to hold his feet to the fire.

Some of you are such sissys that Trump's macho way of doing things backed by a JD beating someone over the head in an eloquent but firm manner is foreign to you.

Yeah this definitely seems like someone trying to play both sides of the fence.

well that's certainly not my position. I was responding to a post that asked why all diplomacy isn't conducted in front of the media which is obviously a dumbass take

I get the sentiment, but I think you misunderstood the post you're responding to. Lindsey Graham came out strongly against Zelensky yesterday, even called for his resignation. If Lil Z lost Miss Lindsey, he's cooked.

Very impressive from Rubio. It’s actually the first time I have ever heard Collins be quiet long enough to have the counterpart make actual points.

I think miss lindsey and especially Rubio see the writing on the wall and know they have to pivot from being war-monging lobby controlled globalists to America first. They know trump can control the narrative and has receipts on where our money has ended up. It’ll be good to see congress, one by one, start to make this transition.

Treasury Secretary Bessent said the same thing yesterday that Rubio said to the confrontational Collin’s interview. That’s the story. Z wanted that confrontation. He’s in London today for meetings with Starmer and then European leaders tomorrow. Good luck Z.

Most of Collins's questions began with a challenge, but kudos to CNN and Rubio for the extended interview. Shocking to say, I was actually informed by listening to CNN.
