NATO served a needed purpose during the Cold War era with the USSR but it has long outlived the Cold War and has become the “entangling alliance” our Founders advised against forming.
Especially when those other countries have evolved to be increasingly under the boot of authoritarian, bureaucratic dictates under the guise of “Liberal World Order”.
Let Europe forge its own path, for better or worse. We do not need Brussels advising us on how to conduct business in our own backyard. Europe’s own history should prove they often have no idea what they are doing when it comes to International affairs.
Especially when those other countries have evolved to be increasingly under the boot of authoritarian, bureaucratic dictates under the guise of “Liberal World Order”.
