The new admin and the tax cuts, the Powell pivot and the Repo intervention all gave cover to contracting global trade and earnings from Q416-Q120. Then you had the cover of Covid to suppress the effects of credit downgrades and a collapse in asset prices and valuations across the board. We've been juiced on small L liquidity and increased deficit spending for like 5 years running now 
My guess is we get two more years on the current programs until we run into a financial fallout from Covid.
