Eliminating it for SAVE Act would likely lead to retaliation when Democrats regain the majority (on issues like voting rights, guns, climate, etc.).
Were you asleep during the last administration? If not for Sinema and Manchin they'd have already eliminated it. And let's not forget democrat activist following Senema into bathrooms to badger and intimidate her and showing up at Manchin's boat to try to threaten him when they wouldn't go along with abolishing the filibuster.
Retaliation? What a joke, dude. Such a disingenuous post. They'll do it regardless and you know that.

If only the Democratic Socialists could bring themselves to do just that^^^.

If you look it with the reality that when they are back In power with limited majorities, they are going to Nuke it, no matter the context or consequences. So now is a time to get ur legislation thru

Dims will do it regardless if they get control of the Senate. Do it now to keep that from happening.
If they did, you wouldn't hear a peep about it from RFK.

If the SAVE Act passes Dems will never control anything again. So, who cares

Yep.. it will cut both ways. They will beat conservatives to death with it. Ask Harry Reid (RIP) how it worked for justices.
We want no part of the filibuster buster.
We want no part of the filibuster buster.

Retaliate when they have power.? When they have powete, they will do it ANYWAY, no matter what. Stop pretending that they have any restraint when it comes to "any means necessary ".

Of course it would, but a populist cannot be troubled by thinking about tomorrow.
Considerations are for today only.

I just get tired of this narrative that everything is an immediate emergency in order to justify discarding something as established as the filibuster and that the world ends when Dems get power. And, yes, both sides do this.
Your point is solid in a general way. The tired game is to frame everything an emergency or existential threat, in order to frighten the retards. But it's misplaced with regard to the Save Act. We really do need to address registration and voting, and yes - it's an urgent need given the risk Dem's pose on this particular piece of legislation.
