This happened years ago as has been stated.
I looked into it a bit and the 80 year old who shot the female criminal was not charged.
Her accomplice, who survived the run in with the 80 year old was charged with the robbery as well as with felony murder.
Because he was in commission of the felon my when she was justifiably killed.
I am guessing the 80 year old was a bit confused when giving the interview and she was likely in his home when he shot her.

California prosecutors need to take into account the NATURAL occurring adrenaline that was pumped into this old guy because of the beat down they did to him and being in his home. This is not controllable by him. It’s biological.
