Routh is in jail without bail. His day in court starts September '25. Where his lawyers are going to try an insanity plea. (Court docs have this on record).
So the pic was definitely taken before.

It is just a medal, hardly anything for material value.
However, it's award conveys the highest honor this country can give. Even higher than the purple heart, in the military.
