Man caught trying to use fake arm to get vaccine

An Italian man who attempted to use a fake arm to get a COVID-19 shot to circumvent vaccine mandates at public venues is facing charges.
A health care worker administering the jab to the 50-year-old man at a vaccine site in the northern Piedmont region initially did not suspect the trick. But then she touched the arm, noticed something was amiss, and had the man remove his shirt, according to The Guardian.
“I felt offended as a professional,” Filippa Bua reportedly told La Repubblica. “The color of the arm made me suspicious and so I asked the man to uncover the rest of his left arm. It was well made but it wasn’t the same color.”
Italy recently announced impending vaccine measures that will prohibit entry of unvaccinated individuals into popular social settings like nightclubs, restaurants, theaters and gyms. The “super green pass,” which is set to take effect Dec. 6, requires proof of vaccination or recovery from the virus.
“The promptness and skill of the health worker ruined the plans of this person, who will now have to respond to the judiciary,” they said.
“It is unacceptable in the face of the sacrifice that the pandemic is making the whole community pay for,” they added.

I’ve wondered why this hasn’t been a thing. Seems like a huge business opportunity to sell fake arms for this

No, it's full retard. Shows you the intelligence bar for anti-vax people. Let me try to pass a fake fricking arm to a medical professional.
A 5 year would know that wont work.

Back in college, my friend and roommate had a flat tire in the middle of nowhere on I20. He was too embarrassed to tell someone that he didn’t know how to change a tire. So he flagged some people down and asked if they would please change his tire because his left arm was paralyzed.
They were a couple nice country folk that helped him. And he just stood there the whole time pretending his left arm was paralyzed. They asked him what happened to his arm, was it an accident. He made an elaborate ruse about how he was born without the use of his arm.
This is the same guy who, on our last three days of a semester, wore his suit all day three days straight because he didn’t want to do laundry right before going home. He came into the cafeteria...
“Why are you wearing a suit?”
“I don’t have any other clean clothes.”

They should have just marked him as vaccinated and let him go for being so awesome.

Here’s to you, Mr. fake arm using vaccinating man!

I legitimately had this same idea. I've had a lot of thoughts on how I could fake having the vaccine.

Reminds me of the John Schneeberger who implanted a fake vein containing someone else's blood into his arm. When he was accused of rape - the technician drew the blood from the fake vein and it was determined the dna did not match that of the rapist. He was later found out and his real dna was used to convict him.
