Cool. So what? No one can change past bullshite, and past bullshite shouldn’t serve as an excuse not to do the right thing now.

Do you support securing the border? Explain why one single illegal crossing should be accepted.

I don’t know about jail time, but enormous fines should be levied on businesses and people who knowingly hire or retain illegal employees.

So that’s how you wash your hands? What a loser!!

It’s not that difficult to figure out who is here legal and who is here illegally!

If you’re a business owner it is your job to make sure everything is on the up and up!!
If you are in the path of a hurricane, are you going to wait until dear government tells you to move or are you going to have enough common sense to gtf out of the way?!

Your government is giving illegals $4k per month, free housing, free food, free healthcare, free transportation, etc., etc. Hell, they will probably let them vote in many places.

Why on earth would fewer jobs slow the wave of incoming illegals?

If a company makes meth illegally who goes to jail for it? Everyone involved. You don't get a do over because you were just doing what you were told. So in this case that would mean the people that hired them which would be the managers and HR people who had a hand in it. Then anyone that approved it. And if that person then got employment and their coworkers found out they were illegal, they get charged too for conspiracy.

All of them.

It should start with HR / those directly responsible for verifying legal status and proceed up the chain.

If illegals are all getting that sweet deal, then why do so many take low paying jobs across the US?

I have no problem assessing a company stiff fines for actively hiring illegals and not verifying citizenship; however, not for isolated incidents.

They're insane! Or it's a plot to steal welfare and at the same time suppress wages in shite jobs.

Dumb. You don't punish the citizen of the US because the Fed fails to do its job. Think about what you are saying.

The employer should not have to do the Fed's job and be the border patrol.

No, it means if you pay him $30 to do it without doing a back ground check or immigration check then you go to jail.

Pretty idiotic position to take. Instead, how about the Fed do its job and control the border so the everyday citizen doesn't have to do that.

I knew we had stupidity on this board but this is top level stupid.

You expect and employer to demand the work records and status of anyone that works for a subcontractor or contractor to that employer?

Know how I know you have never run a business or employed enough people to know this is an impossible task.

I think every CEO of a company that has a supply chain or contracts any kind of manual labor will be in jail.

This would be a real war on fossil fuel!

Railroad contractors that employ green card holders have to supply this information to the railroad before they are allowed on the property.

So…my company does the following:

EVerify
Background check w/ an added SSN # check
TWIC - which is another background check

And guess what? They still get through. But let’s make businesses spend countless unproductive hours investigating their employees and still go to jail.

How do you punish the homeowners that employ illegals to mow their lawns, roof and paint their homes?

My guess is there are a high percentage of posters on this board that are guilty of this.

That boat sailed way back when Reagan back in the 80s was "advised" by NWO Bush trojan horse admin to allow 3 million illegals into the US.

THE time to have locked down the border was ideally 9/12.

He didn't. They didn't. And we know why not.
