I wonder if this has anything to do with indian truck drivers? Weird Duffy would tease a fraud announcement.

Yeah, that's almost certainly what this will be about. Going after the CDL mills.

Right. You've also got multiple state DMVs who could be under the gun. FMCSA audits revealed that multiple state DMVs (California, Minnesota, Illinois, and New York) all issued "non-domiciled" CDLs without verifying lawful status or allowed credentials to remain valid after work authorizations expired.

Then you've got third-party CDL schools and testing "mills." State DMVs often delegate written and skills testing to private third-party training schools and testers. Corrupt or unaccredited "CDL mills" falsify testing results, skip mandatory behind-the-wheel training, or pass non-qualifying applicants (including those lacking English language proficiency or legal presence) in exchange for payment.

If they're talking about fraud, I would imagine they are going after some of these third-party CDL schools and "testing mills."

What we seem to have going on is a bunch of illegal immigrants coming in and paying money to these testing mills and just basically handed a CDL with little to no training. There are approximately 700,000 immigrant truck drivers in this country. Of those, 200,000 have "non-domiciled" CDLs and there are estimated to be 100-150,000 who are completely unlicensed/undocumented who just drive trucks with no paperwork at all.

The blue states and DC are desperately trying to avoid complying with a Dept of Homeland Security administrative subpoena for the records of their commercial driving license distribution. In short, the blue states don’t want DHS or the American people to know how many illegal aliens are driving on CDLs.

Eastern District of Virginia Judge Anthony Trenga has just interceded to stop the states from forced compliance. Judge Trenga entered an administrative stay preventing DHS from obtaining roughly 17 million commercial driver’s license records it subpoenaed for immigration enforcement.

A coalition of 22 blue states is now suing the DHS, claiming that the demand for this sensitive data is part of a broader effort to create a “nationwide surveillance system” and that the DHS lacks legal authority to access such records.

American citizens are not permitted to know who and how many illegal aliens are operating dangerous trucks on the roadways. The privacy of the illegal aliens is paramount to the safety of the American citizen motorist.

Think about that for a few moments.

Well those Americans were against flock cameras, its the same premise. I mean what if some rogue FBI agent got my CDL license info and followed me home?

I say give me liberty, best 1000s die from illegals driving trucks versus one person's liberty violated.

We dont need speed limits, drivers licenses, or law enforcement on our highways, I say give me Liberty.

Ben Franklin something or other.

Boars Head,

I bet you are correct.

There is some conduit between the importation of these illegals, the schools and the licensing offices.

It cant be some grass roots movement where suddenly 100s of thousands of drivers show up, the vast majority from India, Pakistan, and somehow all end up driving trucks. Who would travel half way around the world, spend all that money, in hopes of getting in the country and getting the driving job......unless there were some assurance of a coordinated route to your end objective.

The Department of Transportation is about to expose fraud. So what this will probably be related to is commercial-trucking enforcement.

Whoopie fricking do!

This is going to be about the "CDL Mills." Giving illegal immigrants CDLs with little to no training

well that's a good start - and should be a no-brainer

This is good, actually cuffing those responsible is the next step and putting them behind bars for a very long time. Hopefully we get to step 2 and 3.

KLLM
Mississippi company. Hope they are not tied up with all of this crap. There is a reason CDLs require training especially for big rigs. Anything over a 15 passenger Church van requires a CDL. Imagine comparing that to an 18 wheeler.

Dude, you aren't the person you think you are on here. Most people are laughing at your dumbass self on here. You see all the replies and think that you are popular. I can tell you, outside of a few far left nuts, no one takes anything you say seriously.
