What does Maine provide anyway besides a home for illegals?

The mental gymnastics that has to go on for these morons to think they can dictate policy, is quite puzzling

I’d say you’ve lost the narrative, but the truth is that you’re HIDING the narrative.
This is about the Governor of Maine going to war with the feds to make sure mentally ill men can beat the crap out of girls in sports, and wangle their dicks in the face of the girls in the dressing room.

Does Maine have off shore oil rigs?
Im just not sure what maine produces that would generate a significant chunk of fed tax revenue. A lot of people have second/summer homes up there, thats admittedly about all i know of the state outside of Lobster.

Wouldn’t she need to withdraw from the US all together to do that?

Syrup, lobster, and components for hot air balloons. A huge sacrifice for all of us.

What is pathetic is you twisting this into something that it is not. The governor being a stupid bitch has nothing to do “rooting for the irs” or “against the people of Maine”. She is going rogue and will be dealt with. In short, you are the one being pathetic.

Back in 1828 Vice President John C. Calhoun similarly tried this crap with
President Andrew Jackson. Calhoun argued that the states had the right to
void and nullify Federal laws within their state borders. Calhoun was upset
with the Tariff of 1828 , he believed that it unfairly treated the southern states,
especially his home state of South Carolina. This was the Nullification Crisis.
Old Hickory threatened to send in the US Army. This crisis was one of the
main reasons that led Calhoun to resign . In less than 30 years South
Carolina would be the first state to secede and start the Civil War.
The governette of Maine would do well to review the history.
I hope she does for her sake.

Well that’s libtarded in many ways.
First, all Federal taxes (income social security etc.) are collected by the employer by law. Maine’s private employers will continue to do so or face prosecution resulting in fines and/or jail. The taxes will flow.
Second, if the Feds cut off funding to Maine, thousands of state workers will have to be layed off. No pay no taxes! And a major revolt against the governor will occur! Bet Maines recall and impeachment laws get an in depth review!
Third, if Maine stops collecting federal taxes the government employees will be forced to send in their taxes directly. This would be an extreme pain in the arse! See prior revolt scenario. Also, this opens the issuer of this directive to federal prosecution.
Fourth, if Maine continues to collect government employees federal taxes but withholds them in part or total, the ones issuing said orders will be arrested for tax theft and fraud. There would be jail time for the scale of theft!!
This dumb -itch is just parading her super stupid. This could be due to her living so close to delusional Canada.
In fact, when she issues the criminal orders, she’d better be taking an extended vacation in Toronto!
