A spot aired on the social media platform X by Rogers on Monday, Sept. 21, showed Rogers and his wife Kristi shopping in a grocery store.
"Michigan families are struggling with the price of everyday life," Rogers said. "Groceries cost too much. We have to bring prices down. The war with Iran needs to end and end quickly. When it does, energy costs will plummet."

"Iowans are being squeezed and shouldn’t have to foot the bill at the pump or the checkout line for the war in Iran. We need to use every option at our disposal to provide some relief from high prices," Hinson said in the Monday post on X.
"That includes suspending the gas tax, pausing diesel exports, unleashing E-15 everywhere we can, reinstating the $1/gallon biodiesel tax credit, and creating a diesel relief program to help our farmers and truckers being crushed by the high costs," she continued.

"While doing this, we should also ensure our highway trust fund is replenished, so that Iowans don’t suffer from crumbling roads and bridges while relief comes our way now. These actions to lower costs are needed ASAP, and the war needs to be brought to a successful and immediate end," Hinson wrote.

Of course they are. The voting public is ignorant and has a 15 second attention span. This is an election time and politicians will say the politically expedient thing.
Trump is taking a political risk to attempt to accomplish something that takes patience. Other countries, especially those without elections, often try to ride out a presidency knowing that Americans have bi-annual political upheaval. Sound bites and news cycles rule the day.
I would not be surprised to know that these politicians privately spoke to the Trump team and tacitly got permission to criticize Trump on the Iran War in order to help their short term political necessities.

As should anyone with a brain. Trump screwed the pooch on this one and the juice isn't worth the squeeze.
The 4 week mission is now 8 months in and not one thing has been gained by the US that we didn't have post-midnight hammer June 2025.

I guess I’m not really MAGA.
I just want to stop the moslemization of America, the fa,ggotization of America, the spanification/mexification of America, the marxification of America, and the general un-whiting of America.
I’m not really concerned with whether or not Trump is killing Iranians. Although fewer Iranians, and moslems in general, does in fact make the world a better place. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.

Trump is not taking shite for risk. He is doing what he feels is best for the future of this country and world for that matter whether his approval ratings are 100% or 0% - He's not going to let fake polls and people on X decide how he carries out his mission
