Companies added jobs at a blistering pace in February, with a notable shift away from the service-sector positions that have dominated hiring for years, according to a report Wednesday.
Employment in the private sector surged by 298,000 for the month, with goods producers adding 106,000, ADP and Moody's Analytics said. Construction jobs swelled by 66,000 and manufacturing added 32,000.
The total shattered market expectations of 190,000, according to economists surveyed by ADP.

That's the most important part of this news.

I agree.
I'm very disappointed that Mike Rowe wasn't offered some position in the administration that he could have used to further his campaign on bringing some form of prestige and glory back to trade skills based jobs. It's what our country is going to desperately need here over the next 20-50 years, but no one cares about. Seemed like something that would have been up Trump's alley. I know Mike has said in the past that he would at least entertain any ideas in working with the government to push trade skills.

and this, is how you get re-elected. All the other bullshite the left tries to push as the next big election issue pales in comparison to jobs. Jobs under Obama were non-existent. They'd get stoked over holiday part time jobs gains of 150k. Yet never looked at how small real job growth actually was. Hell, i think Obama had a jobs gain of 8,000 in May of 2016.
What will be really interesting, is if they keep the same metrics, and we watch the unemployment numbers actually go negative.

With these types of jobs, Trump is already doing work towards carrying MI, PA, IA, WI, OH, and MI again in 2020 and has his eyes on MN, NH, NV, and ME.
We love our high paying industrial jobs, don't we folks?
