If you’re white you can’t say that word. Period. I don’t see the problem here. Black people were property til the Civil War, second class citizens for another 100 years later. White people, (checks notes), can’t say a word.

No one is advocating for white people to be able to say it, we're questioning why can black people say it, especially in a hateful and aggressive way towards other black people.

That's where a lot of folks lose the plot on this "who can say it?" brouhaha. You can't simply wish words out of existence. Language doesn't work that way. The last time a white person called me that slur and meant it as a pejorative, I laughed in their face. It was that ridiculous. And I laugh if/when black people do it, too. My younger brother and I literally have a video series where we laugh at such stupid profanity/slur-ridden messages irl

Yeah, let's not look at how we've reacted as a species to voter ID in the past in order to determine how we will react as a species in the future...
Point is, you can look all over the world, during the last 2,500 years and not see an instance of voter identification leading to the state preventing people from voting at large.

Why ask that? Because you wanted to throw doubt... Maybe things would turn out differently here. Maybe federally mandated voter ID would lead to the government taking away our right to vote even though that's never happened in human history.

In 2008 (In District of Columbia v Heller) we were one vote shy of losing our second amendment rights.
Can you name anything similarly occurring with our right to vote?
