Sounds great. Why should my uneducated arse have to spend my limited free time researching this stuff when we already have a massive taxpayer funded organization full of PhD experts in place to do the same thing??

It’s impossible to eat any decent food in this country for a reasonable price. Absolute shite manufactured slop is what we’ve been deemed fit for. Other first world countries do NOT put up with that.

Political in that they do everything possible not to rock the boat for corporations and their profits. They specifically allow cheap disgusting filler in foods here to keep the profit margin up. The same companies sell their real food to other countries.

Call me crazy, but I would like to expect food free of lead and cancer.

This is a rational expectation. If only we were spending a shitload of money on agencies tasked with monitoring and testing what companies are putting in foods and medicines...

I still remember the great baby formula shortage last year, year and a half ago. Remember FDA was blocking imports from Europe because their labeling didn't meet FDA standards. And then we find out American made baby formula is blocked in Europe because it is shite and doesn't meet their nutritional standards.
Bet, Gerber hasn't changed a thing since then. And no government agency will make them.

What concentrations are

quote:

concerning amounts of lead

and
quote:

high levels of lead and cadmium

Presence does not necessarily equal danger. Everything is toxic in the right concentration, even water, and if the concentration is low enough, it has no detectable effects. Concentration matters.

Processed food is expensive and absolute garbage for you. Limit that and eat fresh foods. It’s much cheaper and healthier for you.

From the factory this is likely the source of cadmium contamination:

This is likely the source of lead contamination:

Just a side note, in the O&G industry we banned the use of cadmium coatings because it leaches off into the soil potentially creating a environmental clean up site.

Sec of Global Warming, Mr. Kerry, is worried about Co2 while his wife's company, Heinz, is putting out kid's foods with high lead and cadmium.....

Something is wrong here....

I have not purchase a Heinz's product in 25 years and will warn all parents of this hypocrisy.

it’s hard to tell when you’re being sarcastic. You aren’t the brightest bulb. Many of your posts are just laughable. Don’t blame me for not knowing when your being sarcastic or just your normal dumb idiot self.
