I will refer to them as they appear to me. If it is not my business to delve into what is in their underwear, I will devote zero time evaluating the 'woke' factor. And as I was brought up for the first 70 years of my life, the word "man" and the pronouns "he" & "him" & "sir" were to be used where the gender is either immaterial or unknown.
SO - Someone who presents as a female will be referred to with female words, same for male = male words.
If some strange looking creature stands before me, I will use the grammatically correct "male" gender to denote either disinterest or ignorance of their genitalia.
If someone makes a scene about it - I will just call the left-wing radical scum.
I am going to try to start using the term "biped" as a non-aggressive term in ?w.t.f.? situations.
