They killed her; they SHOULD pay a big settlement. She was sitting in her bed, and they busted in on her.

Unfortunately the people who killed her aren’t paying jack, the taxpayers are.

No-knocks shouldn’t be used unless someone’s life is in imminent danger.

There’s a big difference between knock and announce, knock and no-knock. The boyfriend called 911. Would he call 911 if he thought it was the police?
Yeah. I'm in favor of inhabitants having immunity for shooting first if the police execute a no-knock warrant. Fair is fair.

I think the missing piece here is equating ishtyy police tactics to racism.

Had the inhabitants been white, police fired on, they would shot back just the same. They wouldn't have said "oh, wypeepo, we'll just take the bullets".

It is estimated that no knock raids occur over 40,000 times per year. That’s a staggering number.

Absolutely. The Breonna Taylor case has no apparent connection to race.

As the Duncan Lemp case had no connection to race. Nor did the Bounkham Phonesavanh case.

That depends upon how we define the term “wrong.” Yes, it was the house/residence listed on the warrant, but it was also a house/residence that had absolutely no relationship whatsoever to the crime being investigated.

It’s my understanding that they hit a bunch of the houses at the same time and had warrants for the drug dealing bf. He used that address as his own and they have him on tape making drug transactions in a car registered under her name and that address. They were going to arrest him and search for drugs.

So yes they were at the right house and had the correct address on the warrant. Just because you don’t think it was justified doesn’t mean it was wrong. Warrants are run like that all the time when they feel the suspects are dangerous or may try to get rid of evidence.

Not like her drug dealing bf has a normal job and pays bills that have his name on it or owns his own house. These guys play this game all the time for this exact reason. So cops can’t find where they really hide the drugs. She got used, and paid the ultimate price for it.

Point is she would still be alive today but she was in the ‘game’ and she chose that for herself. I’m sure she didn’t turn down dirty money that he gave her to go spend and go shopping etc.

Breonna the poor innocent hard working EMT. Nevermind the dead body found in a car she rented years earlier.....same characters involved

The documents also alleged that back in 2016, the body of Fernandez Bowman was found in a car rented by Breonna Taylor. When LMPD detectives arrived at Taylor's home to question her, Glover was there. Taylor told the detectives she did not know Bowman, that she had been dating Glover for several months and that she had let him drive the rental car. She also gave detectives her phone number, which was a number that Glover was still using as recently as February of this year, according to the documents.

That homicide victim was the brother of Damarius Bowman, one of Glover’s “associates” who has been arrested with Glover numerous times, the report stated.
