Her looks, as impressive as they might be, doesn’t make her more qualified for the position than anyone else. Why should I vote for her over say Edmonds?

Also, Cloud had election stolen and beat opponent and SOS in court. Her story and background is a great one not to mention she’s a cancer survivor.
She’s a personal friend of mine and I vouch for her competence & character. The state GOP needs a fresh face like Cloud.

Ardoin is easily the most qualified but I can understand people voting for Edmunds.. the problem with Edmund and some others.. this is simply a stepping stone to get statewide name recognition for future political elections.

When appointed as acting SOS,Ardoin said he wouldn't run but low and behold look who changed his mind. I've had enough of that kind of politician. After finding as much info on each candidate as I could, Heather Cloud is my choice for SOS.

It's the Secretary of State. It's about like a state-wide clerk of court job. it's apolitical. Voting for a candidate because of his party is foolish.
Totally administrative position. Vote for the best administrator with some transferable experience.
I don't have a dog in the fight but I read where Ardion (he is the acting Sec of St) sent some sort of ridiculous warning notice to senior citizens about voting -- for the thinly-disguised purpose of getting his name out in front of the voters. It cost more than $25,000 for that mailing.
