The missed votes is such a dumb controversy. House Representatives run for Governor and Senator all the time in the entire country and they don’t resign.

Typically I’d agree with you, but the question was more pointed than that and Abraham dodged it. If he was going to go on sabbatical right after getting re-elected, he shouldn’t have run for re-election.

Why can't politicians every answer a question? Even if it's something they've done

I guess they're so terrified of the SOUND BITE

JBE doesn't want anyone hearing him say he doesn't support exceptions for rape or incest.

I SIGNED THE BILL

ok.. do you support them?

I SIGNED THE BILL

I think JBE is winning so far. It's not been a particularly substantive debate but JBE is coming across as the most polished at crafting his answers into what people want to hear. Basically hes the best politician in a debate format.

Pappy Kennedy would be shredding this with his hokey nonsense.

Rispone is well spoken compared to Abraham. At least on stage he is.

I think Edwards is the most polished (obviously) but I think Rispone is giving the best answers to the questions.

Why do you think we hold elections the years before presidential elections?

It’s supposed to expand the pool of candidates to include members of Congress so they don’t have to choose between running for statewide office or staying in their current seats.

It’s a stupid controversy, get over it.

Rispone was a little shaky at first, but he seems to settling down and coming into his own.

Only problem with Rispone is that he is catering towards the blind right instead of the educated right.

Abraham is supposed to win the right, but he is not doing a great job of speaking.

HaHa...you can tell who supports whom by the comments. “he’s more polished”...”he’s a better speaker”. Full disclosure...i’m for Doc. But, these questions are lame and not revealing anything new. Don’t think we will see any movement after this debate.
