And I thought Rispone was the bold conservative
Wont be anything bold about him but how many sweet heart deals he tosses to his pals. He will probably drag his nuts across our faces in public as he hand millions upon millions over.

That takes too much money for airtime. This is local politics.

What is crazy is that the highest the # of viewers ever got was 221.

I don't give a shite if you support Abraham, Edwards, or Rispone (well actually I do but that is not the point), but our voters need to be informed voters and only ~200 viewers is pathetic. Come on Louisiana, you have got to do better.

There wont be any run off. These guys were terribly unimpressive. Turns out I could watch all of their commercials and know the same amount I know about them now. Not one original thought between any of them. We are screwed.

I am still voting for Ralph, but he seems perfectly fit to be a congressman not so much a Governor.

My opinion...Eddie held his own didn’t hurt himself although the death penalty and medicare expansion question were surprising.

Abraham was better tonight but still some presentation problems

JBE is quite a politician.

The Louisiana charity system (yes it still exists the hospitals are just leased to private operators) covers medical bills people that make below 200% of the FPL and costs the state over $1 billion/year. Medicaid expansion covers those up to 138% of the FPL. Rolling back the medicaid expansion now would put more people on the charity system and mean less money for the state. Plus it will all change after the 2020 election. Hold off changing it until we see what the feds are going to do then change medicaid and the charity system to match the feds

I thought Rispone leaped out to a less but lost mo when he challenged Abraham about Trump and then he had a half arse answer regarding Jindal.

That sequence killed him and he lost his initial advantage and fell back behind the pack.

Just got polled about the state election. No leading questions...just read each candidate for each state office and who I was for.

Beware of anyone capable of talking that smooth and slick.

He's certainly not Barack Obama with incessant stutters of "Uh" all the time.

He's definitely the political twin of Edwin Edwards.

If you're a conservative, you should be asking yourself what the hell is he doing asking that when the guy to his left is a very entrenched democrat incumbent and is a very credible threat to win outright in the first round.
