I may be wrong but I always assumed JBE wasn’t as far left as many of the other dems are nowadays, is he not? I thought he has always been pro gun and against abortion, is there a link of him saying he isn’t? I’m not arguing whether I’m right or wrong, just saying I at least always thought that.

I head the same exact thing about Doug Jones and then I saw how he casts his votes in the senate and he’s just doing what Schumer tells him.

Good...he should. He should also support Trump's Immigration Reform Bill. And Infrastructure.

Lead by example and forget Dem Party delusion politics, and do an honest job.

Infanticide means something. And not what you said.

the legally or formally recognized union of two people as partners in a personal relationship (historically and in some jurisdictions specifically a union between a man and a woman).
"a happy marriage"

Oops. Lol

Edwards has always been a strong, principled pro-life pol. You can beat him up for anything else - and I will likely pile on with you - but he’s not just playing politics on this one. Has a kid he and his wife were advised to abort. Spina bifida, I believe. They did not and have been strong pro life and and pro adoption ever since.

Trust me when I say that supporting a bill like this will be no skin off his back and will have no consequences for him.

JBE will sign this and then he'll take money from national democrats who support infanticide and fundraise some more with pals like baby killer Ralph Northam.

Not really surprising from someone who supported and voted for Obama and Hillary.

This is just lip service and election year politicking from JBE since he knows it will get tied up in court and has little to no chance of ever being enacted into full blown law.

Meanwhile Louisiana remains one of the worst states to find a job in, grow a business in and keep more of your money.

To be otherwise is political suciide in Louisiana.

It's how democrats win legislative seats in the statehouse by putting R next to their names and put out ads bashing baby killing and professing their love for guns.

And then behind the scenes, they tax the hell out of us and put red tape on everything and then do all the usual cronyism and corrupt bullshite that makes Louisiana one of the worst states to find a job and make a living in and raise a family at the same time.

Bashing baby killing and loving guns is the standard realpolitik in Louisiana that's required from both sides of the aisle. And low info voters fall for it every time.

He'll shift back to following Dem party orders as soon as this pesky election is over.

He probably believes his abortion and gun positions, however, he is more than willing to appoint people with diametrically opposed views to positions of power.

And on every other issue - especially economic - he is a Communist. And that’s not hyperbole. He is a bitter, leftist, tyrant.

The “you can’t have LSU football” was a glimpse into the real John Bel....

For example, the Louisiana Department of Health is run by Dr. Rebekah Gee, whose history is pretty clearly on the pro-abortion side of the equation and JBE appointed her.

Another example, LDH isn’t spending a dime defending the admitting-privileges bill the legislature recently passed or the other abortion cases the state is busy fighting, with legal fees mounting over a million dollars. That bill is being footed by the Attorney General’s office, whose budget Edwards doesn’t control. Edwards, has, however, repeatedly gutted that agency’s funding in his executive budgets since taking office.

Which is pretty strange, especially when Edwards makes statements like he did in June of last year saying that the case is “worth fighting.” Really? Then why does one of the least well-funded agencies in Louisiana’s entire government have to cover the cost?

It starts to become a little suspicious. Especially when “pro-life” John Bel Edwards never said anything about Northam’s cruel infanticide comments.

At the very least, he's one last hurrah for old school dixiecrats that miss the days of Huey Long and Edwin Edwards, you know the same guys that ruined this state and institutionalized a lot of corruption and graft in Louisiana.

He has to. No way he could win re-election in LA taking a pro-choice stance.

It’s no risk to him. Heartbeat laws are unconstitutional. It’s just political showmanship and all of you who buy into it are naive.

Your schtick is tired, old, and worn out, woman. I’m guessing you’re a woman or liberal she-male because you sound like the typical liberal beta bitch. You probably wear a ponytail as well.

At the end of the day you’ll always be a useless, worthless, rabid, pile of shite, liberal.
