This is wild.

You haven’t gotten your ‘White Guy Who Can Murder Indiscriminately With No Consequences’ card yet? Come on man!

Guys it just so happens that white people disproportionately get away with high profile murder at rates sufficient to eliminate the statistic gap of racial murder disproportionality

Isn’t that something

What metrics did you use to determine this? I see you think you’re being super clever but I’m actually having a conversation. Are we just supposed to be cosplaying beavis and butthead, because I’m not playing that game. If you’re just trying to be snarky and garner upvotes, then simply let me know so I can stop wasting my time trying to engage with you. I’m not going to act like a teenage boy so strangers online will click a green arrow. Unless you genuinely enjoy being a jerk to strangers online? That’s not my cup of tea either.

If the evidentiary record holds no weight to you and wild speculation that arrest and conviction stats may not have any relation to statistical propensity to engage in crime, then no, we aren’t having any sort of real conversation.

Holy shite you are one dumb bitch.

“I’m here to have a conversation, not participate in snarky comments or personal attacks” (while posting snarky comments and personally attacking the poster).

The problem with people like you, is you are so full of yourself and think so highly of yourself that you can’t see how you come off as a stupid bitch. You wonder why we support the Governor’s actions? It’s because of teachers like you, dumb arse lazy leftist who fail at critical thinking.

Nobody is being mean to you.

If you want to dip out because it’s become apparent you have strongly held beliefs on CRT but haven’t bothered to, you know, read any CRT scholarship - be my guest, but it’s not because anyone is being mean to you.

You had the audacity to belittle those of us who know about the topic at hand without having “done the work”?

I didn’t say anyone was. You’re just trying to get laughs and upvotes. If your goal on a political discussion board is to get upvotes or get people to laugh at your posts - well, I just won’t waste time typing thoughtful replies to the class clown.

No one said anyone is being mean.

Am I doing this right?

I posted the evidentiary record. Can you post the one you referenced that Indicates most crimes are cleared and black people are convicted of committing them? We are clearly looking at different sources.

"Can you post the narrow selection of evidence that I would accept as valid regardless of its existence while I ignore the plethora of evidence showing disproportionate criminality"?

Do you *believe* based on the available evidence that black Americans commit murder at higher rates than white Americans?

This doesn't make sense.

I've spent pages outlining the origins of CRT and the progeny of it, which is present in K-12 (and pretty much every other institution).

Instead of substantively responding to anything, you've spent two pages talking about how your opponents are just after upvotes while claiming - without actually engaging in any meaningful way - that you're here for actual discussion.

Can you post any piece of evidence that supports your claim?

I haven't seen you post any evidence at all. You're just making excuses because you know this evidence doesn't exist.

Why don't you post this evidence?

Your child has never noticed that someone of a different race looks differently than them? Has your child noticed that women look differently than men? Sure, they may not know the terms "black" and "white", or "man" and "woman" until they are taught those terms, but anyone can perceive differences. My daughter is 3 years old, we had a plumber here the other day to work on our water heater, he was a black man (very dark skin with an African accent), and she asked me "daddy, why does that man have a black face?". It doesn't take a genius to notice that some people look different than others.

Three year olds have a limited lexicon so describing the man as having a black face is how he described the plumber. This is the same, simple construct society uses too. This makes sense and is commonplace but... the reality is, it's an ignorant, archaic method to describe an individual because it removes proper secular judgement of that individual person, as the unique individual they truly are. Rather, it lumps them into a socially constructed group of individuals, typically not even created by the members of the group being analyzed themselves... White people didn't see themselves as white until other ethnic peoples started saying they were different. Same thing with black people. They didn't call themselves fellow black folk until other peoples of the world pointed out they're different from them. We can only know the world from our own perspective. Notice how you described the plumber as being very dark (black) and African. This is an example of what is meant by a socially created construct. In your mind, and rightfully so (it's your mind after all), the plumber belongs in the socially created grouping of immigrants from Africa. It's perfectly normal and not racist whatsoever for you to think the plumber is from Africa. You hear his voice, see his skin, and your decision is made based on personal past experiences. These assumptions are totally normal for the society you, personally/individually, find yourself in right now, in these circumstances but is still somewhat inaccurate and definitely incomplete. In reality, the plumber might not have ever even been to Africa, the accent came from his family; maybe he just arrived a year ago. If I ask you what your views on his citizenship status what would be your answer? It could only possible be derived from your personal experiences, thus assuredly incomplete, therefore inaccurate. However, your neighbor might have a completely different inference about the plumber's citizenship status. Recognition of individuality and open mindedness is exactly what parents are trying to teach. Parents want their kids to be able to assess each person on their own individual merit and value. A traditionally beautiful conservative value that our society needed in the past as we are all immigrants. Further it's a just value... Individuality.

CRT teaches your individual and specific perspective at this moment in time is just that... Yours alone, and therefore different from any one else at any time in history. The subject is extremely nuanced and still developing overall. It's not binary like arithmetic, or proper English so it's unsettling. Professors of soft sciences like of theology, philosophy, etc. never stop learning themselves because humans don't know everything in these fields. These reasons and many more are why these advanced concepts are only taught in college. Most majors don't ever get into at all. CRT isn't the boogeyman everyone is making it out to be. This is all making a mountain out of a mole hill. I urge parents to give an honest look into the topic for the sake of your children's education. Learning about issues is never a bad thing.

I'm sorry, I totally missed your post proving that CRT is taught in K-12 public schools in Louisiana. I actually taught at several public schools in Louisiana and CRT was never part of the curriculum, so I'd love to see which schools found the instructional minutes to devote to CRT.
