Big difference in traveling for business and pleasure. New Orleans is one of the top tourist destinations in the world, not....
My response had nothing to do with LA or New Orleans.

But, since you mention it,

AR could be considered a way nicer place than LA.

I drive through AR every few weeks. There is nothing in Arkansas. It's like driving through north Mississippi, except more road construction.

Then explain Texas, with four of the country's busiest international airports. Texas has only 31 cases per 100,000 population and only 6 deaths per million population.

I don't wish it on Texas but they are still early into the first wave. Predictions (as inaccurate as they have been) are for 2000+ deaths in Texas by the end of May.

Louisiana got a jump start with New Orleans and Mardi Gras.

Better yet, can Texas just annex Lafayette and Lake Charles ?

Is that too much to ask? I mean seriously, our state is so fricked. Let’s just dissolve it and start over

You’re not driving anywhere near NWA then.

I’m from La., but the scenic beauty of north west Arkansas and the Buffalo National river area is very nice.

Is it any coincidence that the only state in the region with a Dem governor is having a shite show right now??

Is it any coincidence the country with the most cases in the world is the one that Republican Donald Trump is the president of.

You see how false equivalency works

The reason AR is so low is because nobody internationally travels to AR. Aside from the Marshallese Tyson brings in to pluck chickens.

A heck of a lot more people travel to Florida than Louisiana - and a bunch of cruise ships as well. And Florida is only 72/100,000 vs 349/100,000...with about half as many deaths.

Arkansas has 1 person every 15 miles. easy to social distance.

Bruh, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi all have roughly the same land area. Pop of both AR and MS is roughly 3 million each. LA is roughly 4.6-4.7 million.

Is the point of your joke that Louisiana has 1 person every 10 miles?

I gues a lot of international travelers weren’t flocking to Little Rock in the middle of February.

So you're driving between Little Rock and West Memphis then. Next time hang a left leaving North Little Rock. You'd be surprised in the difference of the topography between the opposite borders of Ark.

What does the democrat governor have to do with this? It could have easily been a republican and Mardi Gras would have gone on.

Do a couple million gather in a continuous progression down 5-6 miles of streets packed shoulder to shoulder?

I can fish and hunt and not be bothered with traffic or crowds.
