I follow this black news site NewsOne and the comments about Kamala are merciless. They think shes a Hillary type opportunist and are mocking her for being a half black woman with a white man (not sure I fully understand that). Seems to be a lot of awareness that she is likely the "chosen one" by Wall Street, powers that be, etc.

Apparently she said something like "I'm an American" when asked if she identifies as black and lots of them dislike her for that reason.

Just found it interesting/promising because she worries me the most out of any potential challengers.

From what I've been reading, she was extremely harsh as a prosecutor towards blacks and actually knowingly jailed some innocent people but refused to admit.

Why am I getting the vibe that black men are more lily to vote against her than black women?

As a former DA and AG, they also basically consider her to be a cop.

Who else would get their vote in the primary? Booker no doubt has gay skeletons in his closet. If something credible was ever found by an enemy super PAC or whatever, he'd be absolutely fricked in the south. Their primary will be a clusterfrick.

Is there a lot of sensitivity amongst blacks when a half black woman dates a black guy?

I had not known that, but when I think about it it does seem like the vast majority of half black women date black guys. Maybe they are shunned by the black community if they date white?

Kamala is a Ungundan Warrior not an African American. She's been very clear on that.

In online opinion polls 20 months out from the election.

If Harris is the nominee (I am in no way predicting that she will be), she will get 85+% of the black vote. Guaranteed.

Black people in this country vote lockstep as a demographic because reasons. A black female running for President is not going to buck that trend, regardless of her previous job.

I've been saying this since day one. She isn't well liked because she isn't really an African-American, her record as a prosecutor/AG is not respected, and she's married to a white dude.

Just when I was about to give them some credit for seeing thru the phony known as Kamala Harris. Probably not a PC thing to say, but what percentage of blacks even identify as being pro-American? I'd be shocked if that number was even close to 30 percent.

Sad.

Doesn't matter if only 15% of the voting black population shows up.

I understand but

A it hopefully makes her less likely to win nomination

B their turnout may not be Obama level if she does win it

This shouldn't surprise you... She isn't "black enough"...

It's an issue of turnout. If they vote, they will vote for her. But if they don't like her, they stay home.

It’ll be interesting to see if her or Spartacus gets the black vote in the primaries.

But I predict he’s an early drop out.

Blacks don’t like homos either so that’s a bummer for Spartacus.
