Served in Vietnam. Cause of death is NASH, which is caused by Agent Orange. Was one of the men that left an impression on everyone he mets, life. Was a big teddy bear but was also tough when needed to be. I loved him so much. Will be very missed!!

From a fellow Vietnam veteran my deepest condolences for your loss. I've know many Vietnam war vets who suffered from this ailment. It's devastating that he, and his family had to endure this disease.
God rest his soul and Semper fi!!

The man cared so deeply about his family. He recently purchased a huge chunk of land that has a cane field. I used to be a sugar cane farmer. He and I made so many memories in such short period of time. My wife and I purchased a piece of property that is beautiful and right across from his home. He wanted his daughter, my wife, to live next to her mom to help her get through this. My wife is an RN and up to Tuesday, stayed at his house after she would get off of work to care for him. We were saying the rosary by his bedside when he left. It was so peaceful and everything that he deserved. I cut grass today on the property and cried like a baby the whole time. He talked non stop about our country and how we needed Trump back in office. Miss him so much already.

I had that peaceful experience also when my dad died back in '93 when I was at his bedside. That's when I knew that there is a heaven. It made it a lot easier accepting his death. You guys are going to be just fine.

Good men must die
But death cannot kill their names
Your family and our country have suffered a great loss…

Want to write the same. My father [old marine] isn't doing well. Like the WWII vets, we lose some of the greatest when they are gone.

RIP to your father-in-law.
I visited one of my uncle’s graves yesterday. He was a Vietnam vet (USMC) as well. He was not a casualty of Agent Orange, but was of PTSD. He became an alcoholic and abused drugs for twenty years after he came home. He sobered up for the last decade of his life, but it was a hard life.
Vietnam was definitely a shitty war.
