Trump's people have got to be exploding with anger behind the scenes right now because this is a political disaster for him
No it's not. It's an opportunity for him. That wasn't him "guessing" that DEI was the cause of the accident. That was him telling us what his investigators will find. We're passed independent investigation at this point. His team will find what they are told to find. We may never find out the truth, but he will come out being "correct" in his prediction.

I’m just going to assume he knows more than we do at this point.

For him to take off like that…it’s the only thing that makes sense to me.

He went off about illegals immediately after the NOLA attack.

Wasn't an illegal.

He goes off half cocked too often.

Little aviation soy boy on CNN crying about how we don't know any biographical info about the people involved and no way DEI could have been a factor. Looked like he was about the cry

To be fair, Trump was citing a report by Fox news. A Fox News anchor, citing two of the network’s national correspondents, wrongly said that the suspect “came through Eagle Pass, Texas, two days ago.” Eagle Pass is on the border with Mexico. Later, one of the reporters the anchor mentioned in the segment, David Spunt, clarified that it was not clear that the suspect was the person driving the truck when it crossed into the U.S. from Mexico.

it's not trump's fault. which makes his vigorous effort to spread blame around even more pathetic. take the day to offer comfort and support to the families and the nation. instead, he's been taking pot shots all day, desperate to avoid any besmirching of his name. that's not a leader

BEWARE:

Preliminary undisclosed FAA safety reports show at least 46 close calls involving commercial airlines last month alone

Most recent 12-month period of available data shows 300 accounts of near collisions involving commercial airlines

# of potential collisions +200% in last decade

99% of US air traffic control facilities (310 out of 313) had fewer fully certified controllers than FAA target levels

FAA has required many controllers to work six days a week w/ +400 hours of overtime through Q2 2023

FAA expects to lose +1,400 controllers next year due to retirements &!other departures

Only 43 of the nation’s +500 airports serving commercial flights have installed warning systems to help prevent runway collisions

“Former air traffic controllers said in interviews that close calls were happening so frequently that they feared it was only a matter of time until a deadly crash occurred.”

He was 9 days ago.

Meaning anyone you fricks wanted donald trump to hire to work air traffic control would have had to have happened when Joe Biden was still president.

Well this throws the "training flight" out the window.

Everyone knows the helicopter caused the crash. The AA flight was on its established approach. ATC warned the helo, twice. The only question now is whether it was intentional.
