I agree. No cheerleading. People have died and families are devastated. I appreciate a competent response but no victory lap while bodies are still being recovered.

Water temps in the mid 30s. Hard enough to survive that even if you're only plunged in and get out immediately. Being completely submerged and exposed 100% to the cold water, you're hypothermic in minutes. Like, low single digit minutes.

Prayers up. Miracles are needed. This is incredibly tragic and confusing.

I've elected to Bongino Rule this one, and check back in tomorrow.

i’m guessing someone cant survive very long in water that cold, i’ll be surprised if there are any survivors at the point..

I watched a rescue 911 back in the day where a kid drowned and was submerged for an hour. The cold water slowed everything down so they were able to revive him with no brain damage.

It's been about an hour now
