It was unprofessional, tasteless, mean-spirited and unbecoming. Par for the course for network television lately, unfortunately. Between Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, they seem to have been having a contest to see who can "out-TDS" one another. There should be repercussions against them both by their employer, but the employer is making money and the tiny audience that still hasn't hemorrhaged away yet is in full agreement with the messaging.
I think people are most upset about this because he went after Melania. Again. Attack the President all you want, because he's the highest position in the world and he should be able to handle the nonstop criticism. But the mainstream used to leave the families out of it- especially the FLOTUS. The mainstream was absolutely forbidden from levying even one ounce of critique towards Mike Obama or "Dr." Jill. But Melania seems to be fair game, though she is arguably the most classy, kind and elegant First Lady in US history. They should leave the family out. Leave the family jabs to the podcasters and talking heads on opinion segments.
I'll say this though- both Kimmel and Colbert have got a loooong way to go, to catch up with the TDS levels of James Carville.
This is a fair point. I guess I've just gotten so numbed to how mean people are online.

Kimmel is beyond a has been. He already got fired, and somehow got resurrected even with his shitty ratings. He's on the verge of being put in the dustpan of history. No one will remember his name, meanwhile the one person he denigrated may just be the 5th guy put on Mt, Rushmore.

The saddest part is that even a single American watches him. He shouldn't even be able to fill the studio audience. He's just awful, and not funny. A really bad combination.

I dont recall magatards with the TDS (trump dicksuck syndrome) being concerned about people making jokes about Biden being senile and old yet are now so concerned about a comedian making a joke about Trump being old, senile, and in bad health. I never cease to be amazed by the magatards hypocrisy
