Normally the one fatality thing means many more...but it's indicative of fatalities and the amounts will rise. Just about every time they start out reporting with the one fatality... that's how it usually progresses.

Again, the cops are armed here and not with hand guns. There are more heavily armed police in the tourist areas then I have ever seen. You cannot walk more then 50 yards without seeing armed police on foot patrol. There is plenty of firepower on the streets.
