What frightens me is that these are "senior intelligence officials" ...allegedly......but that these people had high positions in the government.

Even if the Russians are the source of credible information. It has become incredibly sad that we have to depend on a foreign intelligence agency to do the job of our own FBI.
When we were the good guys, this is what we would do to the Soviet Union, inform their citizenry of the corruption and crimes of their own government.
