I'm down with that.

Ask Ivanka and Jared if they are down with that. Hell, 16 year old Baron Trump is worth twice what Cheney and her attorney husband are worth.

There is nothing conservative about weaponizing a political position to attack a political opponent and ask for their criminal prosecution. An investigation in good faith is one thing. The January 6 investigation wholly dismissed exculpatory evidence and produced a show simply because they don’t like Trump. That is shameful

That being said, this article is misleading. Her disclosure said she is worth somewhere between 10MM and 44MM. The author then says she could be worth over 44MM. It could also be 10, which means she made what about 8 or 9 percent a year the last three years?

Her daddy’s “no bid” Haliburton contracts insured her lights stay on forever.

Sure. I'm not being supportive of Cheney. I'm being critical of Hageman.

I was poor once. It's not a knock.

Keep working. You'll get there.

contrary to popular belief, most folks don't really care about becoming rich. they just want to be able to work and provide for a family without having to support those who are too lazy to work themselves.

they want to be able to pay for a home, a car, and raise kids without having to take out substantial debt well above and beyond what our parents and grandparents had to do.

people realize that they work harder than previous generations and earn less. that is a problem. if you can't see that, then you don't understand the issue at hand.

Being resigned to that and wanting that are two different things.

Nothing wrong with that if you enjoy it, but I'd pay someone to do that shite and spend my day out at the range instead.

Is this that white privilege/generationl wealth I'm always hearing leftists bemoan? But they still love this chick now?

Lol it's such a joke, though--all of our federal "public servants" aren't just rich, they are FABULOUSLY rich, but just about any metric. And even if they were doing well for themselves before, they get a mega boost from having been in federal office. It's insane.

Disagree. Get the money out.

We need a constitutional amendment about campaign contributions. Only voters registered for the election being voted on may contribute to candidates in that race (i.e. if it's a countywide election you must be registered to vote in that county, statewide races you must be a registered voter in that state, congressional races a registered voter in that district, etc.)

Furthermore, only registered voters may contribute. No corporations/PACs/NPOs/etc. Just real, love human beings.

so someone shouldn't want to be a teacher? farmer? welder? bank teller? small town restauranteur? policeman? firefighter?

those folks know off the bat they won't get rich, but they do it anyways. are you saying they're all fools?

I spent a decade in the Marine Corps.

You're barking up the wrong tree with that point.

If they have to work their entire lives and never accumulate wealth, I wouldn't necessarily call them fools. But we don't need to pretend it's something to aspire to.

FIFY

Why do you present such information as if it’s an indictment on Maga people?

You belittle others for holding onto their values instead of worshiping their representatives as if they are incapable of doing wrong.
