DeSantis literally said that Trump didn't do anything criminal and that the entire process against him is wrong.

He literally spouted the same thing Liz Cheney did.

I suspect Rob will be walking back that statement. They are getting HAMMERED right now.

You are intentionally avoiding the full context because it doesn't say what you want it to say. Again...

quote:

“So look, there’s a difference between being brought up on criminal charges and doing things like, for example, I think it was shown how he was in the White House and didn’t do anything while, while things were going on. He should have come out more forcefully, of course, that. But to try to criminalize that, that’s a different issue entirely, and I think that we want to be in a situation where, you know, you don’t have one side just constantly trying to put the other side in jail. And that unfortunately is what we’re seeing now.”

Stop being a fricking hack.

He's a lying little frick.

His lie about Florida red flag laws should bounce anyone from anything this piece of shite has to say.

Why are you over looking the fact that he spouted the same talking point as Liz?

I get you don;t want people to focus on it, but they are.

And people see that:

Stop. You guys keep doing this. He said what he said about J6 (and Mueller) and just because he said other things as well doesnt change or add to the context of what he said. Sick of this

Nobody is going to over look that.... but you few.

First of all no they didn't your comprehension sucks but we knew that

quote:

Contrary to DeSantis’s claims, Trump issued a video statement on Twitter during the disorder, urging protesters: “[Y]ou have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law and order.”

Secondly it doesn't really matter because there is no way Trump skates on his responsibility for what occurred on January 6th.

That should have been done as soon as people were seen charging the building. When was it actually done? Minutes or hours after breach?

I believe it was 12 minutes.

What an obscure and completely off the wall conclusion that 2 separate people could not possibly come to all by themselves. It has to be a conspiracy!!!!

Because he didn't, and if you compare each statement, it shows he did not.

Just because you are copying some twitter nerd doesn't solidify your propaganda. He's just as wrong as you.

If you weren't trying to hide shite, then why the frick did you guys cut off his quote, huh?

Because you are lying through your teeth.

Please expand. Specifically, how is Trump criminally culpable for events on January 6th. Which law, specifically did he violate. I’d love to apply the facts to the elements.

I think about this a lot. After getting set up by the intel agencies on Russiagate and the Ukraine nonsense, how could he be so stupid not to realize J6 was a trap? Even if it wasn't criminal, it was reckless and stupid and got people's hopes up that he had some smoking gun.

Why do you think Trump ran his speech late? The "insurrection" started during Trump's speech. Nobody that went to see Trump speak was at the capitol when the "insurrection" started.

There is no way any sane person with a 3rd grade education can say Trump was to blame for what happened at a location he was not at while he was elsewhere giving a speech.

As the president speaks, a crowd outside the Capitol is swelling. They begin marching towards the police barrier and get past officers. The police, outnumbered, try to contain them.

13:10
Mr Trump ends his speech with the words: "We fight. We fight like hell and if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore. So let's walk down Pennsylvania Avenue."
Shortly afterwards a Capitol police officer calls for backup.
"They're throwing metal poles at us," he says.
"Multiple law-enforcement injuries," he adds in a panicked voice.
Capitol police send an evacuation warning.

13:45
Protesters surge past Capitol police protecting the west steps, the side facing the White House.
Minutes later, an officer declares there is a riot at the Capitol. "We're going to give riot warnings," he says. "We're going to try to get compliance but this is now effectively a riot."

15:13
Trump tweets asking for people to "remain peaceful".

What a fool. Ron shouldn't open his mouth on Jan 6 unless it is to demand the release of the political prisoners. He is being shredded all over social media today.

The bolded part is moving the goalposts. Is Ron blaming Trump for J6 or not? That was the point of the OP. The bolded part is completely irrelevant to the point.

This is first grade logic stuff here.

This poor judgment and down right idiotic thinking has been displayed over and over again.

Fire a Jeff sessions. He hired a bill Barr.

Fire a James Comey he hires a Christopher Wray.

They change voting rules, he doesn’t adapt hides for a month after the election and then calls on his supporters to March on the capital at the literal last hour.

Yet he deserves our loyalty and support and he finally learned his lesson.

The only people who pay on any of this is his supporters. He’s not in jail. He’s still a billionaire

You failed to cite him telling the crowd AT HIS SPEECH to protest peacefully. You whine about JJ omitting pertinent facts, and here you are doing the exact same thing.
