That's a strawman. I never said prevents comorbidities. It's an important mitigation tool.

This makes zero sense. The 3 main comorbidities in America are obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. Nothing else is statistically significant

Health insurance has nothing to do with “mitigating” these. If anything, having health insurance encourages the risky behavior that causes these ailments. We call that a moral hazard

There’s a reason black obesity rates have shot up since the 60s when we put them all on Medicaid

Medicaid will cover any health expenses you incur by eating like shite

Our median age is 40

In Europe as a whole, median age is 42

South Korea median age is 41

In 2019, the average age of the Italian population was 45.4 years

That's a bit of a difference no?

This is BS. I know for a fact that when annual physicals and other preventative checks were made free, they caught pre-diabetes, cancers and other ailments that would have gone unmitigated without a doctor's visit.

Mitt is a butt hurt RINO trying to take a few final swings at Trump before his political career is tossed upon the trash heap of history.

This assumes the majority of people actually take advantage of subsidized physicals and check ups, which is a big assumption.

The data doesn’t indicate that this assumption is warranted though

Like I said, obesity rates among blacks are way higher now than they were in the 1960s when far fewer blacks had medical access.

The rates of heart disease, obesity, and diabetes are HIGHER among groups that have access to subsidized medical care than those who don’t.

They also weren't "made free". But you know this already.

The cost of those is factored into the premiums, causing a sharp rise in both premiums and deductibles that must be met.

The one thing this has proven, these people are not being pressured by Trump to say anything. So much for "letting it rip." They are saying the same stuff they were saying at the press conferences, imagine that...

I know allot of companies which incentivize preventative checkups by offering premium discounts so, no not really a big assumption.

I'm curious how that compares to every other group in the country.... Anecdotally, I can tell you that may be a result of more white collar/sedentary jobs vs my grandparents generation.

I haven’t got to watch the whole thing, but I did see the Rand-Fauci exchange. Fauci presented just plain old straw man arguments. How can Fauci give public health advice without weighing the risk-reward of the actions at all. That would always lead to complete shut down and isolation measures. He also refuses to support any position where decisions need to be made in a more urgent or short term manner. Everything was based on months and years of potential research and understanding of the virus.

Has Fauci ever said that the death count is likely higher than what's being reported? That's in direct contradiction to Trump's statements.

It's also in direct contradiction to Birx's opinion.

Why are two members of the task force at odds, you reckon?

This man is truly an enemy of America. It appears Kandy Kaine was tasked with being the lead Dim attack dog today. He's a Swamper of the highest order....I bet he crawled on his belly before finally taking his seat this morning. Did you notice how he lead Fauci with his rehearsed questions. Every question was to bolster the Dim allegations that Trump botched the pandemic response. Unfortunately for Kandy Kaine we have video clips way back in January where Trump was showing concern for COVID19 and the Dims were consumed with Shampeachment.
