fricktards like you
Your post makes it clear that you did not bother to read the half dozen posts in which I stated my SUPPORT for Voter ID. So you spent several hundred words cursing me for a position OPPOSITE that which I hold.
Stay classy, dogg.

No one can run away from his own argument faster than Hank. No. One.
I QUOTED the posts that showed Mauler to be lying, and STILL you people claim that I said the exact opposite of what I actually said.
Is it any wonder that I think most of you people are drooling imbeciles?

I'm sure there's a few billion that could be used to ensure every American citizen who is of age to vote can be provided a ID for voter verification.
To get my support, the program would have to involve assistance in obtaining state ID in each state, rather than creation of a National ID Card.

How anyone can remotely function in the world today without an ID is beyond me. I think you illustrated how almost impossible it is to do so.
How much would it cost the government to issue ID's to every legal registered voter? The Republicans can reverse the longstanding claim that they suppress the minority vote. I think whatever the cost, it'll be worth it.

It shows reasonableness, willingness to compromise, and a desire to address the Dems (stated) reason for opposition to Voter ID.

It makes so much sense that you can be assured that GOP legislators will not do it.

This is where you stepped into it, claiming blacks lack the opportunity to get an ID.
You have had your arse handed to you tonight in this thread.
You will be going to bed with two black eyes and a busted lip.

Statistically, Blacks are disproportionately represented in that demographic. That is not any sort of moral judgement OR an apologetic. It is simply a fact of life.
I haven’t seen numbers but I have lived most of my life in fairly poor rural parts of the south and I would bet any amount of money you care to wager that there are more destitute, uneducated white people in the south than there are blacks of ANY or ALL socio-economic classes in this entire country. I would make the same wager that those same white folks have all the same “reasons” for living “in the margins” as you put it that you will hear from blacks in similar circumstances. Well...all except one...poor “disenfranchised”whites can’t use systemic racism as an excuse...er...um....reason. They will however, point the finger of blame at any and everyone except the person in the mirror. You see, it’s not a matter of race or racism or anything external other than ones upbringing, regardless of race. Being a poor, unmotivated, excuse making, perpetual victim and general piece of human excrement is colorblind.

In every age bracket, Blacks are over-represented in poverty as a percentage of the population and Whites are under-represented.

Aggie Hank. What a bunch of nonsense. Every fricking person needs an id
And you sure as frick should have one to vote. Its just common sense
This is not voter suppression. It’s voter integrity
Any other argument is pure nonsense. .

Good Lord, you are clearly bright enough to understand that the Dem proposition is NOT that NO Blacks can obtain a government ID, but rather that a larger percentage of Blacks than Whites lack the opportunity to do so.
This sort of thread is mildly entertaining, but substantively it misses the mark completely. Those on the margins of society do not DO most of the listed activities..

And the stupidity of this argument is
1. People are assuming if your poor you don’t have an id
2. So there are mor white poor people than blacks people in just pure numbers
3. And then assume that white people vote republican and blacks vote democrat
So with all that above if this is pure voter suppression than republicans are hurting themselves. Becasue apparently poor people can’t get an id (which is just retarded). And there are more poor white peoples thanx black in this country. That’s just our numbers fact

In raw numbers, are there more poor Whites than poor Blacks? That number is not particularly relevant to this topic, but it is certainly possible. If this issue seems important to you, you are certainly free to post the data.
