It’s amazing
As I have said over and over, given the choices, I am still very satisfied with my support for Donald Trump as president.
The volume and brazeness of his lying is, however, important to consider. Many of his lies are such naked marketing bluster that they are easily accepted as just part of the personality that makes him such a great president (in my opinion).
BUT, some of the lies are so pointless that they make you wonder..."wait, does Trump really believe that?"
It's comforting when you see something Trump says (like "we will charge 20% on all cargo passing through the Strait"), and you know that HE knows he's lying.
Then there are lies such as the "firemen carried me" one which make you wonder if Trump truly has problems with reality. MAYBE it's comforting to know that he is such a narcissist that he always has to make himself the center of attention and a hero.
At any rate, I guess it's part of Trump's unique and powerful talent/appeal that grown men will go to such lengths to pretend the President isn't lying.
I guess the whataboutism is a form of acceptance: "Yes, Trump lies, but what about Biden/Obama/Clinton?" Typically though they don't say the first part out loud.

I think it’s expected to have more discourse over the president
All presidents or, just Trump?
Bush was in charge on that day.

It's your equating the two things that makes you seem dishonest.
Of course, the Left has continually lied about Trump: Charlottesville, Shoot Liz Chaney in the Face, Actual Bloodbath, etc etc etc. That was awful. I commented about Chaney and Bloodbath being ridiculous lies. [Charlottesville was before my time here.]
Can you really not see that President Trump lies? You might not think it's important (and, of course, previous presidents have lied). I just want to see if we can agree on reality.

Did he promise to cure cancer or not?
Why do you radicalize leftists struggle with answering simple questions?
Are you female? That may explain answering a question with a question.

Sure did. Not sure which would have been tougher to do, cure cancer or bring down grocery prices on day 1.

Looks like it got answered to me.

Are you autistic? It would explain how you've amassed over 160 thousand posts on this site and manage to sound retarded in 90% of them.

I know a few contractors who toured ground zero in the days after 9/11. Not sure what the reasoning was but thinking back they all were talking about the structural collapse and what could be done. Mostly it was astonishment at the destruction tho. Anyway, if the contractors I knew toured the site, Donald J. Trump 1000% would have toured the site.

OP and his party are now openly supporting and voting for literal terrorists that shout death to America.

Probably this, because that's what 99% of Americans were doing except, they didn't live in a Manhattan apartment.

Dude, where have you been? Did you miss the phase where people were talking about Biblical Masculinity of which David was a prime example?
You know the whole God uses imperfect vessels to get his word out and to do his work, thing????? Hell. there have been some on here that wanted to lay a christos aspect to him.
Ya know what, that discussion may have been during tax season where you were busy losing money for your clients.

Let’s get this straight. You did or did not answer my question with a question?
You had to be shamed before answering.

I don’t even think he knows he’s lying at this point. He is an octogenarian who doesn’t remember where he was at and doesn’t remember the events that took place. It’s not shocking that a man of that age and in bad health would be in this condition.

Shamed how exactly? Shame would imply that what you think matters to me in some way.

There is no context to "I was carried out by two fireman." Do you believe that or not?
You play the victim and ascribe ridiculous terrible motives to me. I just want to see if you can acknowledge the truth.

Well I'm certainly not going to retain your services in tax disputes with the IRS because of some f'd up strategy you suggested that was supposedly designed to reduce my tax burden.
I don't want to be like your clients on the hook for too much when a competent TA might actually save me money.
I'm well aware of what Tax Attorneys do, I used to work with a few.
