Did Trump voice support for this type of legislation in February of 2018? A simple yes or no.

Not only does President Trump support this, the Republican Party is the primary pushers of "red flag" laws.

I'm not going repost (for the 5th time since the Midterms) the whole aspect of this, I'll just provide the TD PT Board Thread 11/17/2018 that warned y'all.

Republicans & Democrats are ENEMIES of We The People! Wake up.

ETA: bmy Thread the following day

This is done in Louisiana currently. Judge can order a person's firearms seized who has a pending domestic violence case where the judge is convinced it's warranted.

ETA correction: as far as I can tell this only applies to those with protective order against them but still seem to recall something about the first situation as well.

and here's the NATIONAL legislation waiting in the wings when no one is looking...

https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/6747/text - H.R.6747 - Protecting Our Communities and Rights Act of 2018

Nice name huh? Sounds innocent enough. Don't be fooled... it's a Jedi Mind Trick.

Wake up y'all...

Sounds great Lindsey... except these so-called well intentioned laws rapidly morph into something horrific.

Lindsey's a lefty. Always has been. Puts on a patriotic tap dance every so often... but he's a lefty.

I understand the sentiment, I really do, but let’s end gun-free zones and see what happens. Then maybe I’ll consider that such a law is necessary.

Good luck. How would this even work?

Much easier way, they will just make owning a firearm a federal crime with a mandatory prison sentence for being caught in possession of one. Then there will be a fixed time period to turn them in. The lines will be long few people are willing to risk spending 20 years in prison just to possess a firearm.

So someone breaks into my house,
I pull a gun in self defense and they run off,
They report me,
I go to jail,
I do 20 years for possessing a fire arm,
They return the next week and rob and assault my defenseless family.

That's your utopia?

All of my guns would remain locked in my gun safe with the exception of my glock 19 in my night stand.

Who is going to take it? Will you carve out an exception for police? So every cop has a gun but no citizens. frick that.

And this is when Americans show rookie amateurs such as the Vietcong how it’s done. We will shut down all commerce, cut all electric power, derail countless trains, blow bridges, completely level entire blocks, snipe countless media and governmental personnel, make the interstate highway system unusable, stop the collection of taxes, completely eliminate ambulances’ ability to travel the road, burn large swaths or western states...need I go on?
If they want a civil war, that’s how you get a civil war.

Ask the British how well they were able to conduct their business when Americans were at a state of rebellion. They were eventually regulated to stay in cities like New York because everywhere they went they were under risk of being sniped.

God damn you leftest if you cause that kind of strife on America. Our second amendment was put in place for us to do all the things I listed. To remove and replace a government that has become a tyrannical bloated authoritarian scourge that infringes on the liberty of its citizens.
If you come and try and take our guns, you have an army of fifty million to fight and we will come for you and your families in your homes. You politicians and liberal activists better realize that.

Edit. Not meant at you EA. Replied to you but addressed to liberal Marxist and RINO globalist. Sorry if I unintentionally seamed to address you.

And by your posts I'd say you'd walk off a cliff for trump and the party you are married to.

You might want to learn facts before commenting. But you are clearly incapable of that so we'll just leave it here.
