I also love how all the reporters are tweeting the picture with no mention of the confederate flag guy in their captions while making sure not to show his face at all.

True, but people taking pictures generally focus on the center of attention (Youngkin). I doubt this was some artsy college photo project, the picture taker purposefully got that flag in the picture, 100%.
