I miss that fricking a-hole.

Bill Clinton seems quaint now that he was impeached for lying about an affair with his intern. After Reagan dragged us into years of huge deficit spending and could be called the father of the national debt, Bill Clinton was able to turn the tide. Unfortunately Bush Sr cut taxes and increased spending and got us right back into deficit spending. Bush Jr. was like the Trump of his era. Both daddies boys and inept fools in over their heads.

spin it however you want but the fact is that Clinton was able to work across party lines and get shite done. Under Clinton we actually ran surpluses. We actually had a president who could work with other people. He should have written 'the art of the deal' because he actually lived it and achieved it, not just an empty suit writing empty words that he knows nothing about.

I’m not one of your downvoters and I’ll somewhat agree. He was better than the other modern Democrats — Lyndon B, Carter, Obama, Xiden.

Clinton actually worked across the isle. Biden promised unity then pushed radical policy. Even Hillary was less radical than the crap they are pushing now.

the demoidiots have now made impeachment completely partisan and therefore, effectively meaningless.

He's the only one since Reagan who wasn't owned by or helping China.

He didn't have any cronies to appoint to positions of importance, though. That was his biggest mistake. He used appointments as currency, allowing rinos and GOPe people to stab him in the back.

I mean, Trump's election integrity official was a fricking Obama holdover. And that's just one out of many.

trump accomplished about a million times more with an astronomical amount of resistance from BOTH parties than clinton did with a decent amount of support from both parties.

this is a great, great point. this statement will probably be vindicated by history in spades. even during the election fraud, it was said by certain people he was listening to the wrong people and let it go

believe it or not, for lying about an affair with his intern. Talk about the quaint old days. Seems comical now after being ruled by a muslim pres born in nigeria who tried to implement Sharia law and then another who tries to sell out the country to a Ukrainian politician and then encourages a coup attempt. Now we have a president who wants to put us in re-education camps in the northwest territories of Canada.

Al Gore inventing the internet helped Clinton run a surplus, plus destroying our military.

Honestly Clinton wasn’t a terrible President

Bubba really kicked in the selling out of America to China. Never forget he helped China with the needed technologies for advanced MIRV for their nuclear tipped ICBMs, he also helped NK with nuclear technology for their reactors.

I cannot believe there are people who believe "Clinton ran a surplus", like he was the big budget crusader striding all by himself against the forces arraye against him.

Fiscal
Year Year
Ending National Debt Deficit
FY1993 09/30/1993 $4.411488 trillion
FY1994 09/30/1994 $4.692749 trillion $281.26 billion
FY1995 09/29/1995 $4.973982 trillion $281.23 billion
FY1996 09/30/1996 $5.224810 trillion $250.83 billion
FY1997 09/30/1997 $5.413146 trillion $188.34 billion
FY1998 09/30/1998 $5.526193 trillion $113.05 billion
FY1999 09/30/1999 $5.656270 trillion $130.08 billion
FY2000 09/29/2000 $5.674178 trillion $17.91 billion
FY2001 09/28/2001 $5.807463 trillion $133.29 billion

Yep, when he had congress controlled by his party he was really driving that budget deficit down.

What is the difference between the first 2 years and the last 6?

a man that didn't let pride get in his way. A President who actually knew how to "make the art of the deal" as opposed to putting fake words in a so called book. A book that is about as useful as a degree from 'Trumps University'

You're more than welcome to. I'm the first to admit that Bill is high on my list to drink a beer with, same with Dubya, but that doesn't mean they're infallible. The Clinton empire, much like the Bush empire, is riddled with shite. The mortgage debacle in the name of equality was a stern dick slap to the face of mother freedom and foreshadowed much of what we're experiencing now. Equal opportunity once meant something due to the inherent nature of its pursuit. It is now a given, and it will be our downfall.
