there's a six page thread bitching about Star Wars on this board right now, there are people all over who still refuse to see a movie with Sean Penn in it or any other "Hollywood Liberal" of the week who peed in their cheerios.

in a capitalist society we vote with our wallets. I don't like roast beef so Arbys doesn't get my money. I don't like Mike and Mike so their advertisers don't reach me because I don't listen to their show. I buy powerade instead of gatorade when possible so as not to give money to UF. This is how the world works.

When you make a decision to perform at a party for an extremely polarizing person and someone doesn't like that decision and chooses to spend their money on other things, that's not only their right but also completely rational given the way our society operates. It's up to you the performer to make that cost/benefit analysis.

If someone were to send death threats or something to Bocelli over this then yeah, they are unhinged. But just deciding they aren't going to financially support the artist anymore? No, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that on any level.

This is funny because These bat shite progs like to pretend they're cultured and sophisticated but they don't even like opera music.

and let's look at the box office to determine how big this "boycott" will be

oh good. glad you are on the pain train and will maintain this argument in the future when government encroaches on this. so you now believe that laws like the one that force christians to bake cakes for gay people to be wrong, right? you are against consumer protection laws? how far does your political rebellion now reach?

it's your right

it's not very rational. more like a great example of emotional thinking

Stupid, but boycotts aren't fascist. In fact, they are an important part of a both capitalism and a free society.

Target, General Mills, Starbucks, Disney, etc.

They also spent millions on advertising to show how "effective" the Target boycott was, using misleading info to boot.

Let's stop acting like only one group does this.

Will get a few extra as gifts for my mentally disordered/liberal relatives.

So these libtards want to boycott a man with a disability, he's been blind since 12.

I thought true libs represented people with disabilities, minorities, people with different sexual orientation etc.

What's wrong with these sick people?

It's just as ridiculous as boycotting General Mills because they had a gay couple on a commercial for Cheerios, boycotting Kroger because they don't want guns on their private property, or boycotting Starbucks because you don't like their seasonal cups.

Is there some connection between Bocelli fans and "Libs" that I am missing?

The creeps are even going after 16 year old Jackie Evancho because she is going to sing at Trump's inauguration.
