The only purpose of the govt is to protect individual freedom/property. All else should be determined by free market decisions.
The military protects your freedom. Govt is OK.
Poverty is the free market result of your bad decisions. Govt is not OK to steal the property of others to fix it.
All crimes are property crimes. Your body is your property. Rape and Murder are therefore property crimes.
I could do 10 pages more but I'm watching the Army-Navy game.

I responded because from your previous post I thought you might be anti freedom Because it breeds inequity.

Is there a line that can be drawn? Or do y’all believe in survival of the fittest? As it concerns nations and the populace.
I am a minarchist who believes there are only 3 roles for government
1. Defend the nation
2. Enforce contracts
3. Prevent monopolies

How do you feel about anti trust laws?
That's a pretty open question. I think often times treat a symptom rather than a cause. But I don't generally find that to be a large issue or anything.

States Rights.
That and the Constitution are our bedrock. People scream this problem or that conspiracy. Tear it all down blah blah blah.
Just go back to original intent. Fight for State rights.
We have the weapons do we have the willingness.

Sound money? What do you mean?

That's why people hate it
Freedom does not breed inequity. Life breeds inequity. There is as much or more inequity formed in authoritarian systems as there is in freer systems.
I believe the real reason people hate freedom is control, not inequity.

Libertarians are Democrats who are ashamed of admitting their support for Democrats so they hide under the guise of “Libertarians”. They think it gives them the ability to rise above partisan politics when in reality they are just as guilty as everyday Democrat voters

Holy smokes. No way TD is where I found out I'm a Libertarian.

The People are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, NOT governments.
No where in the Constitution does it ever refer to states, or any government, as having "rights", only powers. And governments derive their (just) powers from the governed, not from the Creator. That is to say, those powers are not inalienable.
Powers =/= Rights.

This can’t be stated more simply. We could eliminate 80% of the federal gov’t tomorrow. Any services that they provided that were truly needed would be filled by charities or private enterprises. The Rs and Ds are fricking killing us. They both need to go.

Libertarians are essentially more right wing friendly anarchists.

Anyone or any thought process is friendlier than an anarchist.

Lol that makes sense now why people on here say they’re conservative but really libertarians, which I’ve said before. Libertarians are not conservative at all in most of their positions.

No, you think neoconservatives are conservatives when in reality neoconservatives are RINO marxists and the part of the marxist uniparty.
Tell me which positions libertarians and conservatives differ on.

A heavenly society is anarchy. Government is a necessary evil, but it's still an evil and only needed in our world because this world has evil in it.
As such, any push for it here is really just a push for a transition into another government. And part of the right to self defense is to form governments to provide a common defense.
But among good men who keep the commandments, there is no actual need for government.

The Libertarian position is always the most conservative opinion on any subject. Democrats are socialists and Republicans are democratic socialists.

It's about what any government can compel you to do. Not sure what you're getting on with survival of the fittest.
