Per medical guidelines, any bat bite is considered a possible rabies exposure. Waking up with a bat in the room is also considered a possible exposure.

Well thanks to Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Fun Run Pro Am Race for the Cure a sizeable donation has funded ongoing research these last several years so she has nothing to worry about
