A. They never explain how to fund it.

B. How will they defeat the insurance lobby who pays off congress...

C. Most blue states are so heavy in debt now they can't afford any additional services.

D. The average total cost of a Bachelor's degree and a 4-year medical school degree in the United States ranges from $350,000 to over $450,000.

E. Will a new generation of doctors accept .50 cents on a dollar as compensation from the government.

F. Socialize Healthcare in most country takes months to see a doctor and even longer to get a MRI or see a Specialist. How will they overcome that ?

It's really easy to promise the moon, it's another thing to do it.

Simple, rich people and corporations can pay for it.

Have you ever seen a rich person surrender their money. They have better lawyers and tax advisors than the government.

We print what we don’t earn. There’s your answer.

That will be the answer to anything that the ‘I want what I want when I want it’ crowd wishes for. And they’re right, until we either change that, or wholesale crash.

Explaining this would sink the plan.

It takes months here to get an MRI, CT or certain tests. With two insurances it took me from April to Friday I was finally approved. Every appointment was at least 6 weeks in future. My next specialist is January.
But in talking to others online in other countries I do see that some wait way longer for tests.

Some counties have very little access to special care. Those in Australia and England mostly seem to do good with treatment but wait a lot longer for transplants.

The my corporation is already paying for my healthcare. Why should they pay for yours?

They are never asked to explain it. They just offer us pablum and no challenge. To the extent they are interviewed, the “journalist “ doesn’t listen to ask relevant follow up questions because they have their list of softball questions so they can tell their audience that they are tough interviewers. They are not.

I have what seems to be a damned good health plan and benefits considering what I have read from others.

Their thinking is obvious tied to Marxism - "From each according to their ability and to each according to their needs."

This has not and will never work. This goes against all settled science of human nature and disregards the individual and his ambitions and desires for the forced acceptance of what Der Staat says you need and desire.

Not here not ever.

They rarely get into the specific details of how the utopian shite they promise will actually work or be funded.

That’s why Liberals have a rather extensive track record going back decades now of promising big things to get elected but disastrous results to show for actually running things when voters give them the keys.

Yet generation after new generation continues to fall for their nonsense over and over again.

Of course, only the Democrats could be absolutely blessed to have a largely feckless GOP as their main opponent.

It won’t be Medicare. It will be the cheaper Medicaid with no choice for doctors or hospitals.

In Canada if you get impaled by a steel pole it takes weeks to see a doctor

Probably not that far off.

Maybe the BC Conservative victory will resonate with the other Provinces?

Because Dem platform is judged on intent…not results.

As long as you mean well, you can say/promise anything and Dems will love you
