That's some scary shite. It's basically just a "take our word for it" from the people trying to lock up other people. The fact that it's apparently a legit strategy that is legal....makes it even scarier.
Because if it works against a former president... it can damn sure work against regular people who are nobodies and have no way to fight against it. A state taking expired insignificant misdemeanors...and then just claiming they are felonies based on another crime that they never have to divulge.
