How long would it take to reverse a conviction?

Depends on if the USSC intervenes or how far it's appealed

I read if the USSC intervenes, it would be in July likely

Surprised you’re showing your face after the beat down you took in the other thread from the CPA.

Maybe it’s the arrogance and hubris that keeps you coming back for more?

F We don't know what the jury relied on, specifically, but there are multiple potential options. See my post above.

Thanks for confirming we don’t know what crime he committed..

Glad you’re on board

It was no beat down, especially since he never addressed the various issues from Cohen's POV with any effectiveness.

The primary issues from the Trump Co. POV is whether or not how he described the expense would be accepted as that by the jury.

It would ultimately be a jury determination, not an accounting determination.

We know which crime he committed pursuant to the indictment.

The associated crime, per the jury instructions, didn't even have to end up committed to trigger the felony enhancement of the above crime.

The funniest thing about that exchange was when they were talking about what his punishment should be. The loonbat lefty chick said he should be forced to do community service or work a minimum wage job for a day. She has no fricking clue what the optics of Trump flipping burgers or serving soup at a homeless shelter would do for his popularity.

a politician concealing something about his life whether it's wearing a tutu every night, or putting ketchup on his ice cream, or something actually scandalous, but not criminal, by definition is not a crime. Even lying about it, and/or paying someone not to talk about it, is not a crime.

There is no public right to know here. This is not a crime. There is no predicate crime of election interference,

Dutifully reporting the expenditure is an act of compliance. Twisting it into some kind of campaign accounting fraud is a contrivance at best and certainly not felonious.

Refusing to admit that this prosecution is politically motivated and corrupt is injustice.

We get it. You are arguing the letter of the law. Plenty of other politicians are guilty of what Trump did.

The angst is about selective prosecution and manipulation to get to the prosecution.

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

The solution is to decriminalize society, generally. We have too many criminal laws that have too much negative impact on citizens' lives

As I said earlier, will likely be part of why it's remanded for re-trial with better jury instructions.
